CRIME PREVENTION
A proactive approach to community policing, the Crime Prevention unit was created in January 2022 by Chief of Police K. Stahl.
Chief Stahl identified the communities need for a full-time, non-sworn officer, to be assigned to provide leadership and to empower community members in crime prevention efforts. Currently assigned to this unit, is Crime Prevention Practitioner, and MNCPA Board Member, Randi Smith.
The Minnesota Crime Prevention Association (MNCPA) is a statewide, non-profit organization of citizens, law enforcement officers, and crime prevention practitioners who work together to promote, develop, and advance crime prevention programs.
