Wellhead Protection Plan

The City of Braham recently adopted a new Wellhead Protection Plan (WHP). This plan will help provide for an adequate and safe drinking water supply for community residents. The plan was prepared in cooperation with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and the Minnesota Rural Water Association (MRWA). The plan contains specific actions that the City will take to fulfill WHP requirements that are specified under Minnesota Rules 4720.5510 to 4720.5590.

This plan is effective for ten years. The City will evaluate the status of plan implementation annually to determine if actions are being completed and to document progress and challenges.

If you have questions on the plan please contact City Hall at 320-396-3383.
