Welcome Message
The City of Braham offers a peaceful, small-town setting while being located within an hour of the bustling Twin Cities metropolitan area. Braham is known as the “Homemade Pie Capitol of Minnesota,” as declared by Gov. Rudy Perpich in 1990
Looking for a place to eat or drink? From pizza, burgers, pancakes to sandwiches, Braham offers a selection of different restaurants to grab a bite to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or find a spot to watch the game. Grab a coffee and meet our local Police Officers at one of their "Coffee With A Cop" events.
The City of Braham is home to six different parks where you will find a variety of amenities including a skateboard park, walking paths, playgrounds, basketball courts, picnic tables, bandshell/gazebo, a local Veteran’s Memorial, wooded and shaded areas and more. For more information on Braham’s city parks visit braham.com/maps.
If you are looking for party or gathering space, The Braham Event Center is organized and managed by the local Tusen Tack organization. Surrounded by fields and forests, the Braham Event Center is a beautiful banquet facility with fantastic views that can host gatherings of up to 400 people and includes smaller spaces for groups of up to 25. For more information on the Braham Event Center visit Brahamcenter.org.
Make sure to check out our popular community events held annually, to include the Braham Fire Department's Smelt Fry the last Saturday of April and their Open House & Chili Feed in October. The Braham Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors the City-wide garage sales in April and Braham Appreciation Day in June. While not a City-sponsored event, Braham Pie Day is held the first Friday of every August.
Additionally, the surrounding area offers fishing, boating, camping, snowmobiling, biking, hunting, and golfing opportunities.
The City of Braham welcomes you!
Nate George, Mayor
